 Dr. Raul Perez, D.M.D., M.S., is a dedicated periodontist committed to providing personalized and compassionate dental care to his patients. With a philosophy centered on treating each patient as if they were family, Dr. Perez prioritizes delivering the highest quality of care in a calm and relaxing environment. His goal is to ensure every patient feels safe and confident, knowing their best interests are always the top priority.
Dr. Perez completed his undergraduate, dental, and periodontal residency education at the University of Florida. Prior to specializing in periodontics, he practiced comprehensive general dentistry for two years in Ocala, Florida. During his residency, Dr. Perez excelled as the chief resident in his third year and was honored with the prestigious Fetner and Hartigan Family Award for his exceptional clinical proficiency, didactic excellence, ethical conduct, and interpersonal skills.
Dr. Perez loves giving back; he volunteers at local dental clinics and has participated in multiple dental mission trips. He was recognized with the Student Servant Leadership Award from the Academy of Dentistry for his meritorious volunteerism during his dental school years. Dr. Perez is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Periodontology, the Florida Association of Periodontics, the International Team for Implantology, and the Florida Dental Association.
Outside of work, Dr. Perez enjoys spending quality time with his wife, who is also a dentist, exploring new destinations, and taking their dog Mia for walks. He also shares a passion for working on cars with his father. |
