Dr. John A. Lindsay was born and raised in Desoto, Missouri. He completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery training at the University of Missouri at Kansas City. After practicing general dentistry for 6 years in Missouri and Boca Raton, Dr. Lindsay subsequently received a Certificate in Periodontology from the Boston University School of Graduate Dentistry. Since 1981, he has practiced periodontics and oral implantology in Boca Raton, Florida.
Dr. Lindsay is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and has served as Co-Chairman for the Department of Periodontics and Prosthetics, along with the Surgical Course at the Atlantic Coast Dental Research Clinic. Currently, he is a Clinical Faculty member in the surgical clinic of the Department of Periodontology at the University of Florida and is on the hospital staff at the Boca Raton Community Hospital. Dr. Lindsay has served as a member of the Peer Review Committee for the South Palm Beach County Dental Association and has volunteered at the Caridad Clinic. He has also received the Palm Beach County Dentist of the Year Award.
Dr. Lindsay has lectured and published extensively in the field of periodontics and implantology. He has participated in the development of groundbreaking new procedures in bone regeneration and implant dentistry in Italy. Dr. Lindsay has been a featured lecturer at courses held by an international implant company, University of Florida, North-Shore Hospital, Academy of Osseointegration and numerous local dental societies and study clubs.

Since 8th grade, Dr. Copulos wanted to be a dentist. His personal experience with orthodontics and oral surgery sparked his interest in becoming a dentist. He focused his education, at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, toward going to Case Western Reserve School of Dentistry. In dental school, Dr. Copulos was at the top of his class and received many honors for research. One of his professors approached him and suggested that he would make a great periodontist. Dr. Copulos worked as a general dentist in his hometown of Miami for two years, and then applied for a Periodontal Residency program. He was accepted at the University of Florida and completed his residency in 1992. He started practicing in Boca Raton and opened his own office in 1995. Doctor Thomas A. Copulos earned his Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, a board certification, in 1995. He is a past President of the Florida Association of Periodontists and a member of the American Academy of Periodontology and the American Dental Association.
